UPDATE REGARDING CORONAVIRUS

We are still open for business and offering services.

During this difficult period we understand the importance of keeping our customers and suppliers updated with the latest information relating to the Coronavirus and the effect it is having on our services. We wish to assure you that our operation continues without any disruption. With many of our products being supplied into the manufacture of essential goods in the food, pharmaceutical, water treatment and other critical sectors.

Our build centre in Burntwood, Staffordshire continues to operate normally and to ensure the safety of our staff we have had to step up strict distancing measures and cleaning of the work stations, tools and equipment.

The office staff are mainly working from home where they have the ability to access the office remotely or in individual offices to ensure they maintain the safe distancing beyond what is recommended by the government.

We also take this opportunity to advise you that some of the Bonfiglioli factories in Italy will be shut down for 2 weeks until the 6th April. At this time we do not anticipate any disruption to our services due to the large stock holding and the ability to build here in the UK from components. Of course we have considered the possibility of an extended closure in Italy hence we have planned to carry larger stocks than usual to see us through this difficult and volatile period.

We respectfully remind customers to ensure all customers/couriers who are collecting will adhere to distancing and hand sanitizing measures to ensure safety of everyone. It goes without saying that each and every one of us can do our bit to reduce the spread of the virus and protect the NHS from becoming inundated during this outbreak as well as the most vulnerable in our society.

We are pleased to announce that production at Bonfiglioli facilities in Italy will resume on the 4th May 2020, read the letter from Fausto Carboni. CEO Bonfiglioli Group. As we all know COVID-19 has been severe in Italy so it will take a little time to get back to a pre pandemic status, your patience is appreciated during this time.

Our extensive stocks and UK build centre facility means we have been able to survive this period whilst supply has ceased from the factory.

Take care and please stay safe.

Kind regards
